Products Description:

Uji in Kyoto, Yame in Fukuoka, and Asahina in Shizuoka are renowned as Japan’s three major Gyokuro-producing regions.

Gyokuro is a traditional Japanese green tea grown under shade, with the tea fields covered with straw or shade cloth to protect the leaves from direct sunlight. This cultivation method gives the tea its distinctive ooika, or shaded aroma, reminiscent of fresh aonori seaweed.

Uji’s Hoshun Gyokuro offers a rich, dashi-like umami beneath its pronounced toasted aroma.

Yame’s Gōgumi Gyokuro is distinguished by its beautifully balanced umami and sweetness, creating an elegant and refined cup.

Asahina’s Yabukita Gyokuro reveals a fresh, refreshing aroma and gentle astringency, followed by a rich, lingering finish.

Recommended Brewing Method:

For one serving, use approximately 7 g of tea leaves.
For each additional serving, add 2 g of tea leaves.
