Instruction:
2.5g tea + 90ml water per serving,
add 1.5g tea + 90ml water for each additional serving.

This blend for the start of winter is based on “Hoshun” kabusecha produced in Uji City, Kyoto Prefecture.

Kabusecha is tea grown by covering tea fields with straw or shade cloth, blocking sunlight for about one week to ten days. True to its name, this “covering” process yields tea with a robust umami flavor.

This Hoshun boasts a fresh, vibrant green aroma with a mellow mouthfeel that feels milky. Its umami spreads across the palate, accompanied by a refreshing, lemon-like juiciness.

Blended pear and cinnamon leaves enhance the spicy nuance of the aroma, allowing the fruity flavor to gently and refreshingly unfold.
