This is "Harumidori," a medium-steamed sencha tea from Hoshino Tea Factory in Yame City, Fukuoka Prefecture. Hoshino Tea Factory supports the traditional tea culture of Okuyame and Hoshino Village, producing mainly gyokuro, matcha, and sencha.

Harumidori is a variety created by crossing Kanayamidori and Yabukita.

It is characterized by an elegant umami flavor reminiscent of kombu broth, but it also has a milky taste that it likely inherited from Kanyamidori.

It also has a pleasant, fragrant aroma reminiscent of roasted seaweed and green soybeans.

Because it is medium-steamed, you can see a deeper green color as you steep it, so please enjoy the change in color as well.
