Vernal Equinox

March 20th is "Vernal Equinox."

White tea is tea that is lightly fermented compared to oolong tea and black tea.

It is said to be the simplest way to make tea; the tea is completed by allowing the tea leaves to wither and then drying them.

It's amazing how simply wilting the flowers can produce such a gorgeous fragrance, but cherry blossom leaves also undergo similar changes around the cherry trees, sometimes giving off a unique fragrance.

You will find that the scent is just like "sakura mochi".
