Major Snow

December 7th is a day when large snow falls, and is written as "Major Snow."

We are now in December and the year is finally drawing to a close.

When you feel the crisp, cool air in the morning, it feels like a sign that a new day is about to begin, and it makes you feel like you have to stand up straight.

The blended tea representing Major Snow combines Karigane roasted tea, produced in Uji City, Kyoto Prefecture, with burdock and calendula.

The aroma ranges from that of a fine cigar to the soft nuances of earth, creating a calming aroma. The mellow, savory flavor is complemented by the refreshing, elegant aroma of calendula.

Please enjoy this during your relaxing time, such as when you have turned off the lights before going to bed.

In fact, it has long been said that Japan is the only country that eats burdock.
There are records of it being a vegetable in books from the Heian period, and it has been eaten by Japanese people for about 1,200 years, so it is strange that it has not become popular in other countries for a long time.

The joy of eating burdock is its crunchy texture and, above all, its rich earthy aroma.

Are Japanese people really gluttons, as they can even enjoy the flavor of soil, which is essential for plants?
Or perhaps they were eating it down to the roots out of a sense of wastefulness.

Whatever the case may be, be sure to try this blended tea with its warm, earthy flavor.
